WTF Is a Subliminal Audio?
Demystifying subliminal audios without the cringe.
Subliminal audios are audio tracks that play affirmations at a very low volume, almost below hearing level, making them sound like a soft murmur.
Why Don’t We Want to Hear Affirmations Clearly?
This is in order to bypass the conscious mind, which acts as a bouncer as to what enters our subconscious mind. Low-volume affirmations don’t try to argue their way in, they walk past unnoticed.
Why Target the Subconscious Mind?
We want to reach the subconscious mind because that’s who runs the show. It decides what is our reality.
However we genuinely perceive ourselves and the world around us, the subliminal mind will do everything it can to protect that reality and make us act accordingly.
It will decide what is easy for us to do, and will add friction to the things that don’t feel familiar to what our current reality is.
It is this current reality of ours that we want to change in order for our world to align with it.
How Can We Change This Reality?
We need to make our new reality to feel familiar to our subconscious mind.
One of the few if not the only way known to induce familiarity to our SM is through repeated affirmations.
These affirmations can be poured into our subconscious mind through our senses. We can:
- Read them aloud
- Write them down
- Listen to them
Why Subliminal Audios?
On their own, reading aloud and writing down affirmations need some extra steps (described in a following article) to reach the subconscious mind, since on their own they are susceptible of not passing the conscious mind’s filter.
Subliminal audios:
- Bypass this filter, reaching out the subconscious mind directly
- Are passive, and not active
With the right tools, we could technically listen to them on demand while minding our own business. We’ll cover how to create them effortlessly next.
